Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival to Egypt

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met by your wonders of Egypt representative, then transfer to the hotel for check-in , After check-in you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure.

NB:
There is a wonderful opportunity to do an optional excursion to the Sound & Light Show on Giza Plateau, by the magnificent Pyramids.

Day 2: Cairo day tour

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Giza Plateau, home of Egypt’s greatest attractions the Great Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World( including the Great Pyramid of Cheops, Chephren ,Mykerinos) and the Mysterious Sphinx,
Have lunch at quality local restaurant, and then drive to tour to Museum of Egyptian Antiques, which exhibits a collection now of over 120000 masterpieces ranging from Pre-Dynastic era, Pharaonic era to the Greco-Roman period in Egypt, learn, and discover the great Egyptian civilization and art of mummification in ancient Egypt.
Then drive to the Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the Hanging Church , cavern church, the oldest synagogues Afterwards an enjoyable afternoon of exploring the old market of Khan El Khalili, time for shopping will be available at some governmental stores and shops, heading back to the hotel for an overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Alexandria sightseeing

An early pick up from the hotel by your private English speaking Egyptologist and driver to the legendry city of Alexandria(located 220km Northwest on the Mediterranean coast)visiting the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoukafa and the Royal Cemetery of Kom El-shoqafa,a historical archaeological site and considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. Pompey’s Pillar, a Roman triumphal column, is one of the best-known ancient monuments still standing in Alexandria today, and it is the last of the remaining relics of the Seraphium. The Pillar was sculpted in honor of Emperor Diocletian.
Have lunch at quality restaurant, then you will continue on to visit the Citadel of Qaitbey, built on the ruins of the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria. You will visit the large and famous Alexandria Library, reconstructed by building the new library, the library is one of the greatest cultural and scientific centers. Overnight in Alexandria.

Day 4: Alexandria to El Alamein – Siwa Oasis

An early morning drive from Alexandria to El Alamein where we will visit the World War II Cemeteries, battle sites and Museums dedicated to the thousands of soldiers killed from many countries including (England, Germany, Italy, Greece, Australia and more). Drive on to Marsa Matrouh where Rommel, the German Tank Commander made his base during the conflict of World War II.
Have lunch in hotel restaurant before driving to, and then check in for an overnight in Siwa.

Day 5: Siwa Oasis – Bier Wahid

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then Drive to explore Alexander Temple, Amun Temple, Gabel El Maouta and Cleopatra’s Bath. Siwa is a fascinating small town with the ‘Mountain of the Dead’, a mountain which contained many tombs surrounding the base and was famous for being known as the place of the oracle. It was said that here, Alexander the Great was crowned as the new Pharaoh of that time, and the first Greco-Roman believer of Amun God.
Have lunch at quality local restaurant. After refreshments, a drive off-road to visit Bier Wahid and the great sand sea (known for its immense sand dunes), heading back to the hotel.

Day 6: Siwa to Bahariya Oasis

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then an early drive to East to the fascinating scenery of the Western Desert and the Oasis of Bahariya. (400 km).
A picnic lunch at midday on the road before arriving at Bahariya Oasis. Check in for an Overnight.

Day 7: Bahariya Oasis, Crystal Mountain, White Desert

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then drive to explore the Museum of the Golden Mummies, Bunintui Tomb and Zed Amon Tomb (Old tombs related to the Greco-Roman period and dedicated to the 26 dynasty), Meftela (2 old Temples dedicated to the 26 dynasty), salty lake and the surrounding fruit trees and the British Mountain (the highest observation point of the oasis used by the British during World War II).Then drive to El Heiz where we will be lunch,
Then drive to the Crystal Mountain and White Desert to spend the night in a tent encampment in full board basis

Day 8: New and Old White Deserts – Cairo

Enjoy your breakfast then drive to visit the Old and New White Deserts with an outstanding vision of rock formations formed over wind and time. Drive back to Bahariya for lunch and refreshments then drive back to Cairo.
