Tour Itinerary:

Day 01: Alexandria Port/ Pyramids Tour:

Wonders of Egypt representative will pick you up from Alexandria port (by the cruise exit door) holding a sign of your name. The drive to Cairo approximately 3 hours and start your day tour exploring the Great Pyramids of Giza such as Pyramids of Cheops , Chephren and Mykerinus. Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, a head of a pharaoh with a lion’s body, dates from the time of Chephren.
Continue driving to visit the Step Pyramids of Djoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the third Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. Shopping time will be available at governmental stores and shops.
Have lunch quality local restaurant and then move on to Islamic Cairo where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 02: Egyptian Museum/ Salah El Din Citadel/ Port Said Port:

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel, then tour the Egyptian museum that features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 6000 years of art, which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 120,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry, which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated.
Have lunch at quality local restaurant, then move on to the Salah El din Citadel and visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the architect Yousef Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came especially from Istanbul and built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) heading to Port Said.
